5 Year Limited Warranty

Your TrailWynd bottle is built to last. We back it with a 5 Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects and insulation failure. If something goes wrong that shouldn’t, we’ll make it right.


What this warranty covers

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. This includes:

  • Insulation failure (bottle no longer holding temperature)
  • Manufacturing defects in the stainless steel body
  • Faulty welds or structural issues
  • Defective lid, seal or threading
  • Premature corrosion caused by manufacturing issues

If a defect is confirmed, TrailWynd will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the item, or
  • Replace it with the same or equivalent model, or
  • Refund the product price

What this warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or anything outside manufacturing faults. Examples include:

  • Dents, drops or impact damage
  • Scratches, abrasions or cosmetic wear
  • Discolouration or fading from sunlight or cleaning products
  • Odours or stains from improper cleaning
  • Damage from dishwashers or high heat
  • Broken or lost lids
  • Corrosion caused by neglect, chemicals or salt exposure
  • Any bottle that has been modified or tampered with
  • General wear and tear from regular use

Only manufacturing defects are eligible. Cosmetic or accidental damage is not covered.


Proof of purchase

A valid proof of purchase is required for warranty claims. This may include:

  • Your original TrailWynd order confirmation
  • A receipt from an authorised TrailWynd retailer
  • Your order number (Shopify or Amazon)

Who pays for shipping?

If your claim is approved:

  • TrailWynd covers the cost of sending the replacement to you
  • We may ask for photos or videos instead of returning the product
  • If a return is required, we will normally cover return shipping for approved warranty defects

If a returned item is assessed and found not to have a manufacturing defect, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs.


How to make a warranty claim

Email support@trailwynd.com with:

  • Your full name
  • Your proof of purchase
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos showing the problem

We will review your claim and respond with next steps. Most claims are processed quickly.


Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

For minor defects, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund within a reasonable time. Nothing in this warranty limits or replaces your ACL rights.
